This course is suitable for beginners as well as those with experience and our objective is to improve your technique, regardless of your starting point.
Classes of up to ten people will be guided by Lisa Jayne within a very relaxing, holiday atmosphere. Whilst classes are structured at the beginning of each day, 9.30am, individuals will be encouraged to work as their mood and schedule suits them until 4.30pm. The five day course of painting & drawing allows plenty of time both to learn and to practice a number of subject areas. You can work in a medium you are familiar with, or try something new and Lisa Jayne will be willing to help you decide what is best for you. The course timetable runs from Sunday to Friday with one optional day to visit the local gallery or just relax and enjoy the local area.
Whatever you wish to explore painting techniques, pastels, pen & ink or drawing Lisa Jayne has the experience to help you achieve your full potential.
Non participating partners are welcome at a reduced price of £545 and this includes accommodation on a twin share basis, breakfast, lunch and 3 evening meals – Flights and other meals are not included in the cost.
Residents of the local area are welcome to join the course for 5 days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) and the cost will be £250 (A packed lunch will be required for each day).

The nearest international airports are Lyon, St Etienne and Grenoble. A group transfer will be arranged if a number of you arrive around the same time and the price will depend on how many of you take advantage of this facility.

Holiday / Activity Overview:
The aim of this art holiday is for participants to immerse themselves in the process of painting & drawing to discover a personal interpretation of all the Ardeche has to offer. The selected area of landscapes, people and architectural influences provide a wonderful vista for the five day course. The climate also provides the ideal setting for other subject areas such as everyday people and daytime scenes. Lisa Jayne has taught art at highly regarded private schools and over the last 5 years in her Oxfordshire based art studio and is known to be a highly revered art teacher and accomplished artist. Lisa Jayne is recognized for her ability to identify and harness the natural creativity within everyone. About the local area:
The Mournet is situated at the entrance of the village of Albon in the heart of the Boutieres National Park next to the Massif Central at an altitude of 630m. The village benefits from a warm climate and despite the tranquil environment the house is only 500m from the village.How to Get Here:
Le Mournet is about 2 hours south of Lyon, 2 hours north of Avignon, Valence is only 1 hour away and Paris is just 2 hours from Valence by TGV. More precisely the farmhouse is 30km West of La Voulte and 30km North of Privas in the centre of the Ardeche region.
