Presentation:
Aolmaia Tuscany Society is a small group of Italians who organize cultural holidays for foreign tourists. We live in the heart of Tuscany, near San Miniato, within easy reach of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra. We have designed tours and courses which are true experiences in touch with the culture, traditions, life and friendly people of Tuscany.
Aolmaia Country School offers individual, small party, customized tours and courses that combine the pleasure of vacationing in one of the most beautiful regions of Italy with cultural activities, and cooking and food/wine tasting.
The uniqueness of our programs is the variety: every day we offer a cooking class by a different chef in a different place. The resuls is a wide exposure to differing cooking styles which means you, our guest, will discover the true Tuscan Cuisine.

1) Tuscany Cooking and Touring
A genuine "hands-on" 6-night course by expert home-cooks, teaching traditional Tuscany and Mediterranean cuisine. Including excursions to food producers, wineries, olive mill, art towns. The price includes classes, tours, activities, transportation, meals and lodging in double room.
2) Lucca & Cinque Terre Cuisine Tour
A 4 night cuisine tour of northern Tuscany visiting legendary places such as Lucca, Cinque Terre, Carrara, including "hands-on" classes with top chefs, food producers, visits... The price includes lodging in double room, classes, tours, transportation, meals, taxes and everything.
3) Cooking break
A 3 night vacation with hands-on cooking classes and a glimpse at the best Tuscany pleasures: food, wine, olive oil, art ... The price includes all activities, meals, transport, and three-night lodging in double room.
3) Truffle & Olive oil specials
An autumn 3 night vacation with "hands-on" cooking classes during the white truffle season. Mushrooms, olive oil making, new wine... The price includes all activities, meals, transport, and three-night lodging in double room.
4) Tuscany Wine Tours
AAn intensive wine appreciation 3-night program always guided by a professional sommelier, visiting some of the most famous wine areas of Tuscany, tasting more than 20 great Tuscany wines and eating excellent meals. The price of the tour activities includes: wine, meals, sommelier guiding, transportation and everything, including three nights lodging.

Accommodation
With us you will not find a school building for the accommodation. All programs and classes will be held in different areas and each program has its own appropriate accommodation in cosy hotels, historical residences, holiday-farms, private farm-houses, antique villas, in the countryside or in old towns and villages.
We love our region, we know "the real things" and we like to share them with you, as part of a pleasing and unforgettable vacation.

Location
Aolmaia Tuscany Society offers experiences mainly in the north of Tuscany. We are situated in one of the most charming places of Italy. We are located in the hilly area between Florence (40km) and Pisa (46km), near the old village of San Miniato, within easy reach of San Gimignano km 30, Siena km 60, Lucca km 40, Volterra km 35 and the sea coast.
How to Get to Us
For those arriving by air we suggest Pisa as ideal but also Florence is a good arrival site.
Eather Florence or Pisa are directly connected by train or freeway to San Miniati where we are based.
