Cortijo los Lobos is an exclusive holiday retreat set in the beautiful olive groves and pine clad national park area of Andalucia, Southern Spain, just 40 minutes from Granada and Malaga airports. Our breathtaking mountain views and spectacular rural location offers our holiday guests a truly memorable and relaxing holiday. Your friendly hosts, Clive and June Wolfe, tailor your holiday to suit you, nothing is too much trouble and we are happy to discuss individual requirements. We are a center of natural horsemanship and our happy horses all live together in a family group. You can enjoy spectacular off road riding on safe, friendly horses. All ages and abilities are catered for. Flexible riding packages are available to fit in with your holiday plans, and non-riding members of your group.

The accommodation is centred around our beautiful old family farmhouse and consists of two tastefully and comfortably furnished self catering cottages, with private patios or courtyards, each sleeping up to 6 people. (up to 4 adults, plus extra children) There is also a brand new self catering apartment, mainly used for our horse riding guests, but can be booked for non riders if available (ideal for short breaks, flight overlaps etc) *Apartment sleeps 2 adults, 2 children (sharing room) Evening meals can be provided if booked in advance, or can be provided every night as part of a full board riding package.

The views from the elevated terrace of our private heated pool are some of the best you will find in Spain. The large, colourful landscaped gardens, horses in paddocks, and numerous outdoor eating and relaxing areas all add to the ambience, making Cortijo Los Lobos a very special place to stay. Our horses are a much loved part of our family and their comfort and well being is important to us. We use bitless bridles, but don't worry , this has only improved their behaviour. We tailor our rides to suit your ability and are happy to take children and beginners. The riding terrain and scenery is truly breathtaking, with wide mountain tracks, olive groves and streams. Our safe, forward going horses are happy to go at the pace you choose.

Our mountain location close to the village of Villanueva Del Trabuco is easily accessible by a tarmac road, only ten minutes from the main Malaga to Granada motorway and 40 minutes from Malaga and Granada airports. Situated in the midst of field after field of olives, our away from it all location offers you the chance to relax and unwind, away from the stresses of modern living. You can sample traditional Spanish cuisine at the many local restaurants and bars.

Food shopping and restaurants are just a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk. A little further a field you can visit some of Spain's historic cities, such as Cordoba, Ronda and Seville and of course Granada, only 40 minutes away, which boasts the wonderful Alhambra palace and a superb ski resort.
