Join me, your personal French coach in my amazing "holiday-classroom"… la Camargue!
Practice and brush up your French in a fun and informal way... by exploring and savouring with all your five senses what makes my part of France so different and unique! With my help, you'll immerse yourself in the environment and culture as we experience all the Camargue has to offer to those who know where to look!
During our stay you will build in confidence as you intereact with the locals, see the sights, join in traditional festivals and local events, enjoy cultural and artistic activities or simply go shopping in the local shops and markets. I'll be your safety net and guide to help you make rapid progress with your French language skills. I'm a qualified Trainer of French as a foreign language - specialist in accelerated teaching and learning with more then 30 years professional experience in France.
For those who don't relish the idea of 'going back to school', you'll be pleased to hear that there are no classrooms here. No blackboards, whiteboards or rigid structures either.
You’ll be amazed at how fast you’ll learn with a tailor-made course... in an informal and relaxed way by speaking and interacting, not in a classroom but out and about in real situations. By using French ... and only French... you will develop natural language learning skills and become rapidly at ease in a French speaking environment. By immersing yourself in this way your confidence at speaking French will improve dramatically, which in itself will help you learn as you move forward.
The course price includes all of the following elements:
> Your tailored immersion programme (5 guided thematic tours to explore the local surroundings, depending on your interests), with 1 hour of linguistic preparation of each theme.
> Transport in my car ( up to 400km/week )
> 5 x Lunch or dinner (depending on trip timing)
> All course materials (except entrance fees)
The accommodation costs may be slightly different for July and August - please consult my web site, or contact me.
The property dates back more than 100 years and is close to the middle-age ramparts of Aigues-Mortes. We're within a few minutes walk of picturesque roads, art galeries, restaurants and bars, small boutiques and the various 'animations' which take place in the town. As for the sandy beaches - they are just 4km away.
Should my accommodation be full, or you'd prefer to stay in a different area I'll be delighted to help you find a suitable alternative.

My French learning holidays are suitable for those with basic French and beyond - you'll probably understand a lot more than you can say at this stage. My learning programmes all involve small numbers where accelerated learning can be most effective. As such you'll see 3 price bands below depending on the numbers in your group: just you, you and one other, or up to 4 people.The course price includes all of the following elements:

Accommodation for your stay will be at our Chambres d'hôtes Farniente. Located in the old quarter of Aigues-Mortes we are a stones throw from the port and marina. The Camargue is a unique place, different from anything you could imagine or find elsewhere. How to Get Here:
Aigues-Mortes is located c. 35km from Nimes, and 30km from Montpellier. Motorway access is very good, and the renowned French TGV travels to both Nimes and Montpellier.
