About the local area:
We are based in the Highland capital Inverness, a small city of around 70,000 people. It's about 15 minutes by car to Loch Ness and a huge range of great photographic locations within a short drive. Dramatic landscapes appear around every bend with areas of coastline indented by lochs, bays and beaches all competing for the cameras attention with mountains that rise abruptly from the peat bogs and lochan strewn moorlands. There is a lot of history in the area too with castles, battle grounds and abandoned homesteads throughout the region. Wildlife is also prevalent with Red Deer, Red Squirrels and birds of prey often sighted. The largest region in the UK with the smallest population means there is room to breathe and explore this magnificent region. Highlights include, The isle of Skye, Cairngorm National Park, Inverpolly and Assynt, Torridon, Glencoe, Loch Ness and many other great locations.
How to Get Here:
Inverness is around 3.5 hours from Glasgow and Edinburgh by road. It also has good rail and air links with major UK cities, Flybe and Easyjet have good connections with Inverness Airport.
