Welcome to Yoga Solari; treat yourself to a restorative week of yoga and fun in Puglia, Southern Italy. Imagine two hours of yoga a day, to energise you for exploring the local towns or beaches, an appetite for the fantastic Puglian food, or a total chill by the pool. Your accomodation will be in our trullo, the traditional and unique architecture of the area. There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Trullo Solari has been fully modernised to provide luxurious spacious and eco-friendly living, and is surrounded by five acres of olive groves and fruit trees. There is a five by ten metre swimming pool for your use, and plenty of sun terraces and other areas to escape with a book or your thoughts. The weekly package includes a two hour yoga session for six days; breakfast, lunch and evening meal each day (delicious vegetarian food, organic and home grown where possible) and two half day excursions. On the final evening you are invited to enjoy dinner at a local trattoria. We enjoy yoga and celebrating the bounty of our Puglian landscape, cuisine and wine. Your relaxing and restorative yoga will be taught by experienced Sivananda teacher Paul Fountain. Sivananda yoga is similar to Hatha yoga and suitable for all levels. You will be led through breathing exercises, sun salutations and asanas that will leave you calm yet energised, and ready to enjoy the rest of your day. Paul has been practising yoga since 1994 and qualified to teach in India in 1996. He has taught yoga full time in London, and spent six months as staff at an ashram in France. He has lived in Puglia for four years, teaching yoga and bringing up his two young bimbi with wife Annacarin.

Welcome to Trullo Solari, a newly restored trullo that will accommodate eight people in beautiful, green comfort. The traditional Puglian trulli have been fully modernised to provide comfortable spacious living. Surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees, simply relax by the private pool. Trullo Solari is a 300 year old building, with the traditional "trullo" cones of this region of Puglia. Two of the integrated "lamie" still have their original barrel vaulted ceilings. The house has recently been redeveloped. The original features have been respectfully updated, yet the renovation has used progressive design to open the space within the building to provide maximum comfort and create a spacious, luxury accommodation. The property has been designed to be beautiful, comfortable and environmentally friendly. Solar power is used for hot water and heating the house, and waste water is re-used (please use the organic bodycare and cleaning products provided). In cooler months, underfloor heating and the woodburning stove will keep you warm. The trullo's traditional thick walls and high ceilings keep it cool in summer. And through the marvels of technology, a wifi connection is now available in this idyllic rural setting. The surrounding grounds are maintained organically. Puglia offers a wealth of diversions; two coast lines, a vast number of hill towns each with their own characteristics and always beautiful, rugged scenery with knarled olive trees, spring flowers, red soil and acres of vineyards. With blue skies and a fantastic light, it is certain to restore your spirit. Yoga Solari is three kilometres from Ceglie Messapica, a small town which will provide everything you need, including a magical historic town centre for you to wander. There is also a train station which will take you to the local towns of Martina Franca or, the "Florence of the South", beautiful Lecce. During the week you are invited to join two half day excursions with us. We will confirm the itinerary with you, depending on the group's interests, but may include visits to local marine reservation Torre Guaceto, ceramic centre Grottaglie, olive oil or wine tastings or hiking around the gorges of Massafra.

Just 30 minutes from Brindisi or an hour from Bari (both international airports), Trullo Solari is easily reached by Ryanair flights from London Stansted or British Airways from Gatwick, as well as regular connections from Rome and Milan. Alternatively, fly and drive to Puglia from Naples or Rome.
